34 Weeks

Week 34

Well, nesting is in full blown. I invited some of the kids' friends over in the afternoon so I could deep clean and I took down the office and set up most of your room. I am really excited with how it is turning out. I had everything yellow and blue, but I changed it to pink/blush and ivory so if in the future you and Maggie need to share a room, the pinks can blend together.

Also went to the doctors this week. We had to switch doctors to Dr. Beverly since our other one is leaving for California. He is okay, I think I like him. Very personable, which I like. I am measuring small but it was nice to have an ultrasound in the room, so he measured you and you are measuring right on track and the fluids look good. During the ultrasound, we saw you sticking your tongue out and moving your eyes around. It was so cool, though creepy at the same time.

Week 33

So we have had a ton of snow this year. With your dad working crazy hours, so if I want to go anywhere with Maggie and Sam (like church for example), it leaves me to shovel the driveway. This last evening, I was so tired and sore in my lower back. What the heck, I can't be this uncomfortable already. This is make a long two months. But then the next night I was fine. Dang snow. So on Sunday, when I woke up, I was so excited that it hadn't snow so we could just go straight to church. But then the snow plow came and buried the end of the driveway. I could not move that night. Monday morning comes and your dad was so sweet to wake up extra to shovel for me. But then the snow plow comes again. I give up. It took three tries, but I got up and over the hill. Maggie then told me that we should "write a sign to the snow plower to tell him not to bury our driveway again because my mom has a baby in her tummy."

Well, the time is ticking, and the sure fire way to tell that it is getting closer is the number of times I use the restroom. I have to go about 10-12 a day, no joke. It doesn't help that I drink over 100 oz of water. The worst is at night. I have to wake up 2-3 times. I guess this is all prepping me for you waking up to eat. Also, I am starting to clean out the office to get ready to change that room to your room. I told your dad that he has until the first of February until I set up the crib.

**I forgot to take a photo, sorry. But I promise that the belly is still huge.

Well Christmas is over and now is the time that I said that I would start getting ready for you. So on my list this month is finish glider/foot stool, paint changing table, and freezer meals. For Christmas, Grandma Matthews gave us this super cute outfit that we already had, so I took Maggie and Sam to the store to exchange it. It was so fun to see them get excited over you. Maggie wanted to buy everything for you-hairbands, shoes, jackets. She has good taste and you would look adorable, but probably put us in the whole with how much she wanted.
